About El Roque

Located just under 2km from the fishing village of El Cotillo and its beautiful beaches and lagoons you will find the village of El Roque which is relatively undiscovered, this is a small village and relatively new to tourism.

Here you will find a horseriding school where you can discover the beauty of the area on horseback. The whole area offers a mixture of Villas large and small. Being close to El Cotillo there are several bars and restaurants close to the old harbour where you can relax and watch the astounding sunsets, and the views from El Toston (the tower) are stunning.

Just a couple of miles to the north of El Cotillo there is a lighthouse which is also a fishing museum, a great destination for an afternoon stroll.
